What is "Domain divert"?
Divert me is used to redirect a domain name (web address/URL) to another domain name (web address/URL)
Example: www.your_domain_name.com can point to www.any_domain_name.com or www.any_domain_name.com/directory/directory/your_site.

How does it work?
The domain name to be diverted must be parked on our servers, where we can control the redirection to any other domain name or sub domain.

What is parked?
When you purchase a domain name it needs a place to be parked or hosted. If you do not do anything with your domain name it will stay(parkerd) on your registars servers.
When you are ready to use it for email or hosting it will need to be delegated to the corect server. The severs (DNS settings) can be configured to for your domain name and will be visable to the internet

What is delegate?
Delegate, is when you move (delegate) your domain name from one server to another. Most domain name companies will delegate your domain name to your servers free of charge.

Domain divert cost $65.00 Australian dollars per year. This fee is to configure the servers and the upkeep of the equipment.

What is a "Short URL"? (sub domain)
Divert me also has a program to generate a short domain name for you. www.divertme.to/you
You may use this short domain name to point to your existing website. This will help you gain a greater global presence by using more then one web address. In fact the more the better.

How do I get a short URL?
Click here and fill out the form. You will be sent an e-mail to the email address you enter in the form. In the email is a link to click on to activate your short URL.

How much does a short URL cost?
The short URL is free.

What is "create a home page"?
Divert me also has a program where you can create your own home page. Here you can place your personal/company details for all to view.
